.netbc and Black Ninja Present ASP.NET MVC Development

ASP.NET MVC represents an exciting new direction for developing applications for the web on the Microsoft platform. Model-View-Controller (MVC) applications give us far greater control over the markup, how our applications are consumed and requested, as well as promote a clean application architecture. Modern web development also makes use of a variety of technologies including AJAX and Rich Media. ASP.NET MVC makes it much easier to integrate these frameworks into your applications and allows for a greater degree of choice as to which framework you want to use. MVC also brings robust support for unit testing your web applications to support Test Driven Development (TDD).

This discussion will focus on giving you a brief introduction into the MVC architecture and how you should start to model your web applications for providing resources. Then we will dive right in and develop a simple web application using ASP.NET MVC.

Presented by our very own Matthew Carriere, this session is sure to be a hit!
