Black Ninja Parts Launched!

We’re really excited to announce the launch of our new SharePoint product add-ons this week, at SPConf 2011 in Anaheim. We’ve been hard at work putting together solutions for some of the most commonly requested web parts and columns from our clients. Simplicity, design and functionality was our goal.

Officially titled the Black Ninja Parts, we encourage you to head on over to the site and check them out. We have fully functional trial downloads available for you to try out, and our ninjas are standing by to assist with any support issues you may have.

Our licensing model can’t get any simpler: buy a single licenses and use it across your farm. How great is that? Our support hours are also pretty aggressive, so don’t forget to drop us a line with any feedback or questions, we’d be happy to hear from you!

If you’re interested in either one of these positions, please be sure to include a PDF copy of your resume (no word documents please) and some samples of recent work you’ve done. Specifically for the UX/UI position, we will only be contacting applications that can provide a portfolio of recent work. We look forward to hearing from you and we’ll do our best to get back to each and every applicant!

Black Ninja will be at the F5-Expo conference, will you?

It’s a rare treat for us to be able to attend a conference in our beautiful home town of Vancouver, British Columbia. This year, the F5-Expo will be held April 7, 2010 at the Vancouver Convention Centre and we’re going to be there as an official exhibitor! The sponsor list alone promises to make this a very memorable expo and we are encouraging everyone we know to attend. The keynote speaker is Malcolm Gladwell, author of the ‘Tipping Point‘.

The official word directly from the F5-Expo site:

A business conference for executives on changing technologies in the online space such as social media, search marketing, mobile applications, and future trends. The inaugural event will be held on April 7, 2010 in world renowned, Vancouver, Canada.

How Do You Recognize a Good Developer?

This is a very important question for any new company looking for potential new recruits in today’s competitive job market. I’ve been quite vocal in the past about what I consider to be a good programmer and my core checklist hasn’t changed much since joining this leet group of ninjas. We have a very tight, exceptionally skilled core group of people and it’s often a challenge to find the right fit.
